Park Rules and Regulations

Parking at the Moose Lodge across 25-1/2 Road from MLL is not permitted. Vehicles parked in the Moose Lodge parking lot will likely be towed.

Parking along the fence in front of the Hitting Facility is reserved for concession stand managers, Board Member on duty and MLL league president ONLY!

  • No animals allowed in park area (excluding service animals). This includes the t-ball field area.
  • No climbing on fences or trees (or pulling on limbs). No picking flowers please as they need the dirt to grow.
  • Please use a cup for sunflower seeds and put trash in proper containers. If you see trash, please pick it up and dispose of it to help keep the park looking its best.
  • Please keep an eye on your children and help them understand the rules are for everyone’s safety.
  • Please keep children off score tower stairs and out of score tower equipment rooms.
  • Please do not throw items up into nets.
  • All children using batting cages must be supervised by an adult
  • Please do not climb on picnic tables.


Skateboards, Scooters, Skates and Bicycles: Parents please DO NOT ALLOW your children to ride their skateboards, scooters, roller skates/blades or bicycles in the park. This poses a safety hazard to all who are visiting MLL.

No Dogs Allowed: For the safety of others and the cleanliness of the ballpark there are no dogs permitted at Monument Little League.

Adherence to all the posted signs at the entrances of the ballpark as well as all MLL rules and regulations is greatly appreciated!

Cleaning Up After Games


SPECTATORS: Following the game please clean up the bleachers and area around you. Throw trash away in the provided trash cans.

SCORE KEEPERS:  Please make sure to pick up the trash in and around the score towers after each game.

MANAGERS, COACHES AND PLAYERS:  Please make sure that you throw away your trash as you leave the dugouts. The last team in each dugout for the day, please sweep out the dugouts so they will be ready for the next day of game play.

 

Additional Information:

Before the game parents can help out by sweeping the dugouts, putting out bases, and chalking the field.

After games there are several ways you can help out by raking and dragging the field, putting bases away, and sweeping dugouts and under bleachers.

Umpire Gear

Also, please note that Monument Little League provides umpire safety gear for coach pitch, rookie baseball, and rookie softball for parents who volunteer to umpire those games.

Coach Reminder

Please remember the Board Member on Duty will not be there until 4:45 to open up the equipment rooms etc., please wait for the Board Member to get these open, etc., not the concession stand operators.

Cancellation Policy

Monument Little League will not issue refunds except under unusual/extenuating circumstances, to be determined by a MLL representative.  Any refund requires a minumum $5 transaction fee for any registration cancellations.  This fee is meant to cover liable transaction and banking fees associated with these transactions and any other costs or fees attributed to these situations.  MLL reserves the right to waive these fees in very special situations at the total discretion of MLL representatives.

Team Responsibilities

Team Game Responsibilities

 

Home Team (Early Game):  Responsible for lining fields and handling of score book / pitch count log.

Visitor Team (Early Game):  Responsible for inserting bases and running the scoreboard.

Both Teams (Early Game):  Responsible for cleaning dugouts, sweep if possible, and rake up / trouble spots if they exist.

 

**  Coach Pitch teams on Jr/Sr Field - MAKE SURE TO REMOVE BASES AFTER YOUR GAME (both Home/Visitor responsible together)

 

Home Team (Late Game):  Responsible for Raking & Dragging, and handling of score book / pitch count log.

Visitor Team (Late Game):  Responsible for removing bases, and running the scoreboard.

Both Teams (Late Game):  Responsible for cleaning the dugouts - sweep and pick up ALL trash.

 

**  Late Game is the final game of the day/night on the field

Coaches: 

PLEASE make sure to sign pitch count logs after each game.
